We have a suspicion that the graphics adapter may be enumerated in a different order and therefore you won't have the "Microsoft Corporation 1.1.0" first. If going through the Indirect Display engine, could you please try to make the laptop monitor primary, then reboot and see if it changes the behaviour? When you boot, what display is the primary?
